Following the publication of ISO/IEC 15504 as a full International Standard, the focus of activity in standards development has grown to cover the development of new Process Assessment Models, and approaches to the assessment of Organizational Maturity.

Along with this is a growing need to promote interoperability and interchange between different approaches to assessment. A specific focus in the 2008 Conference will be on the assessment of organizational maturity, particularly addressing higher levels of maturity, within the context of ISO/IEC 15504.

The conference is hosted on behalf of The SPICE User Group by gasq - Global Association for Software Quality, an international, member-based, non-profit association.
