Monday is the "Tutorial-Day" with five tutorials to choose from. Tuesday and Wednesday will show four keynotes and 29 technical and industry presentations. Tuesday also hosts the industrial presentations by valued sponsors of SPICE 2008.

Mark Paulk (Carnegie Mellon University) in his Keynote presentation "Understanding High Maturity Practices" will discuss the fundamental principles of process management at the higher maturity levels as well as some of the common mistakes that are made. Mark’s work and knowledge of empirical methods, high maturity practices, statistical process control, and agile methods are well known together with his leadership of the work on the Capability Maturity Model for Software at the Software Engineering Institute.

The Keynote will be followed by a "High Maturity" session that will showcase the only three organizations, all from India, that have achieved (or are expecting to achieve) ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE) Organizational Maturity Level 5. The session will be chaired by Alec Dorling, the international ISO/IEC 15504 and SPICE project manager.

In the session, Wipro Technologies will talk about Sustaining High Maturity practices in High Growth Environment, KPIT Cummins about Quantitative Project Management and the Role of Process Consultants at KPIT Cummins, and Satyam Computer Services about the Drivers and Enablers of High Maturity Practices at Satyam.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from and discuss with the experts and practitioners about high maturity practices. An opportunity not to be missed!
